Today sees the release of two new reservoirs for the water cooling enthusiast market. Designed around the popular Liang D5 and D5 vario these products are set to provide maximum compatibility whilst being user friendly.

The reservoirs attach directly to the Liang pumps, thus eliminating the need to install tubing from the reservoir to the pump itself. This saves the consumer money, space and time.

The products are available in two flavours, bay and tank designs.

In an effort to make Overclockers Tech more user friendly as well as (and more importantly) faster, we’ve decided to completely revamp everything for 2010.

Not only is the look different, it’s different on the back end as well. We’ve switched from Joomla to WordPress for the site engine and the difference is night and day. The site is faster, it’s sleeker and (at least we hope) it’s easier on the eyes.

All of the links from the old site have been redirected, so we should not lose anybody from clicking on links that already exist. If anyone finds a dead link, please copy the address and post it in our forums. We’ll get it fixed ASAP!

As you will see shortly, we have also revamped the look of the forums to make the site and the forums better flow together. The old skins are still selectable if you want, but the default has changed to our new, customized skin.

As always, we don’t shy away from questions, comments or criticism. Feel free to share your thoughts in our forums!

Note that the amount of wattage that goes through the DFI UT PWM’s is around 200 watts plus 75 watts for the MCH making a total of 275 watts;not factoring into account the small wattage of the ICH! Usally most of this heat is then outputted into your case-this increasing CPU temperatures and possibly limiting your Overclocking score!

Needless to say-they will be available within the week, and overclockerstech will be the first to review this product.

At these high temperatures, it would be prudent to make sure you have a sufficient radiator available (especially if you require near-silent cooling)

Overclockerstech recommends the following products for use with this waterblock.

XSPC RX280

At Long last, and after many videos on the youtube and speculation on many forums, DFI have finally released their hybrid board. The following is a press-release from DFI regarding the aforementioned system board.

DFI , Taipei, 20091117 –Due to the serious issue of global warming, in order to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, saving energy has become the responsibility of every global citizen. DFI is committed to developing energy saving products, not only to provide consumers a better platform, but also to do the best for the earth. Therefore, Hybrid platform was invented. Besides saving plenty of energy, Hybrid platform also brings consumers the benefits of time saving, space saving, and money saving.

In addition, it is simple to use. Via a control panel, two systems can be easily switched and using condition can be known. First, energy saving. More and more users need to turn on their computer for a long time; however at the same time they worry about high consumption of energy. While general energy-saving system can not satisfy users in terms of performance, DFI launches Hybrid platform to solve this problem. This platform can be turned on for 24 hours and will not result in high electric bills, but also renders high performance to meet users’ requirements.
