In Win Limited Edition XFrame Chassis Review

During my visit to CES 2012 in Las Vegas, one of my many stops was at the In Win booth. While visiting In Win, the star of their display of chassis was the undoubtedly the XFrame. Overclockers Tech was lucky enough to be given a review sample to explore in more detail than the limited time at CES afforded.

In Win has made a big splash as of late with some great enthusiast products ranging from computer cases to high end power supplies. With the release of the XFrame, In Win is certainly not sitting idle and continues to push out unique products geared towards the PC gaming and enthusiast crowd. Those of you that frequently rebuild systems, overclock, and bench test components should be particularly interested in the XFrame and what it can do to make those processes easier to perform.

We invite you to read on as we take an in depth look at the In Win XFrame and all it has to offer, but first a little about In Win:

“The distinctive, lively red In Win logo, derived from the Chinese calligraphy “如”, symbolizes “如意” or “Satisfaction, according to one’s wishes”. With no sharp edges, the logo also portrays a state of energetic harmony between technology and art. Thus, our slogan “Contemporary and Innovative” serves as the foundation of not only our product development but also our attitudes in serving and catering to our strategic partner’s wishes. We take the “im” out of “impossible”… …A brand without persistence is only a name.

IN-WIN Development Inc., an ISO 9001 manufacturer of professional computer chassis, power supplies and digital storage devices, is the leading provider of enclosure solutions to system integrators worldwide. OCZ Synapse Cache 64GB SSD Review

Those who adopted Intel’s Z68 platform, and the SSD caching feature it provides, are able to greatly increase the speed of their traditional mechanical hard drives by using a small and inexpensive SSD for the caching function. Obviously this is a very tempting proposition as the price of large capacity SSD hard drives are still very expensive. But what about all the people who have a relatively modern system without SSD caching support? Thanks to OCZ and their Synapse Cache line of SSD’s, just about anyone with a modern system can enjoy the benefits of SSD caching at a very affordable price. OCZ’s Dataplex software ties it all together making the implementation an easy process.

Follow along as we test out this newest innovation from OCZ and see how much of a performance gain you can expect while continuing to use your traditional platter type hard drive. But first a little about OCZ.

“Founded in 2002, San Jose, California-based OCZ Technology Group, Inc. has built on its expertise in high-speed memory to become a dominant player in the manufacturing and distribution of solid state drives (SSDs), a disruptive, game-changing technology that is replacing traditional rotating magnetic hard disk drives (HDDs). SSDs are faster, more reliable, run cooler, and use significantly less power than the HDDs used in the majority of computers today. In addition to SSD technology, OCZ also offers high performance components for computing devices and systems, including enterprise class power management products and industrial power accessories.”

Mayhem’s Pastel and X1 Review

Introduction

Water Cooling over the last couple of years, as any enthusiast will tell you, was in danger of becoming stagnant. Very few companies, if any, were truly innovating and the ones that were making changes, were only making minor changes at best. Essentially there were only three radiator companies manufacturing products world-wide. This being Black Ice (in the Philippines) Thermochill (in the United Kingdom) and finally the massive company in China that produces all the rest, such as the XSPC and Magicool products.

CES 2012: A Glimpse Into The Future

With over 150,000 people in attendance and 3100 exhibitors vying for their attention, I managed to find my way around well enough to see some of the best that support OverclockersTech with review samples. Crammed into the Las Vegas Convention Center and several different hotel suites around the city, it’s impossible to see everything in the limited amount of time I had available, so I concentrated my efforts on those vendors that most closely match the reviews we publish.

It didn’t take long while walking the different areas of CES to realize the buzz words this year were “Smart” and “Wireless”. Everything it seems is going “smart” these days, from televisions to phones and everything in between. With new wireless technology just around the corner that promises greater access and faster speeds, the possibilities are endless for implementing devices of all kinds to utilize these new technologies.

While it is easy to get caught up in the new electronic gadgets coming out soon, alas we are a computer enthusiast site and I needed to stay focused!
