Conclusion

It is not often we come across a budget gaming mouse that works well under many situations, however the Utechsmart Mars did perform well under fire.  The ergonomics of the product flow very well into the hand and makes using this product a pleasure -even over prolonged periods. The micro switches feel solid and that is after a good hammering from hours of gaming and cries of anguish of being shot by some ‘camper’ in Unreal Tournament 2013.

Although the menu interface is spelled in American-English (grrr) only and does not pick up the regional Why do Chinese companies think that the English language belongs to the Americans when in reality it is called ENGLISH for a reason?)  English. Having sounded off at that minor gripe the menu interface is well thought out and planned and at least it is not in broken English that Chinese companies tend to use these days.

The only real and minor grip I have the Mars mouse is the uneven distribution of colour along the length of the product-otherwise the product is excellent quality with its quick 4000DPI optical sensor, fast polling and intuitive buttons then the Utechsmart Mars is hard to fault indeed. Combined with a bargain retail price of £17.99 then one cannot go wrong.

The Utechsmart Mars mouse can be purchased on Amazon.com and .uk for the bargain price of £17.99 by clicking on the Amazon logo below.
