Introduction

Fan controllers are all the range these days and come in many shapes and styles. However, with the competition fierce between companies, a product better have some rather unique features.

Manufacturers  such as Aerocool, employ many LEDs and a touch interface, similar to that of a Star Trek Bridge Console. Lamptron concentrates on build quality and only uses the original metal in the construction of their units, while NZXT products are known for sheer good looks.

Thermaltake Armor Revo Snow Edition Case Review

Thermaltake’s popular “Armor” line of chassis has taken on a new look and additional features. This time around it’s given the “Armor Revo” name, and is available in a black and white color. The white option is aptly named “Armor Revo Snow Edition”, and is the model we will be reviewing today. It seems Thermaltake is constantly trying to one-up themselves and come up with new and innovative ideas, we’ll see if they succeeded with the Armor Revo Snow Edition.

Keyboards are an often overlooked peripheral in today’s computer market as  most companies are concentrating on the internal components.  However there are some that take great pains to strive for  ‘the ‘ultimate’ keyboard and many differing ideas are born from this struggle. Many years ago we had the old clunky IBM keyboards of the mechanical type which emitted lots of noise but were extremely responsive. Later these were changed to the more user friendly ‘soft touch’ version. However the responsiveness and the tactile feedback on the latter was never as impressive as the former. As a result of this if one wished to type on the mechanical keyboard then the efficiency and productivity is vastly superior to that of a soft touch version.

Thermaltake Frio Extreme CPU Cooler Review

The Frio line of CPU coolers has taken a new twist with the release of the “Extreme” version; this time a dual tower design has been implemented. Thermaltake Frio Advanced CPU Cooler Review

Thermaltake has been busy lately, adding to the already impressive Frio series of CPU coolers. Today’s review is on the recently released Frio Advanced (CLP0596).  The new Frio Advanced offers a new “Heat-pipe Direct Touch Technology”  design, as well as two 130mm high performance fans. We’ll have a look and see how it performs against the original Frio and other coolers out there.
